i'll report back with the conclusion / resolve. I'm currently in the process of emailing their support team. it seems like anything MP4 whether its normal mp4, mp4 AMD, mp4 Intel quicksync, it just crashes either my game or app. but when i use MP4 AMD APP i get signifigant performance drops. i prefer using Intel QuickSync over the MP4 AMD APP because the performance drop is virtually nothing. the only format that doesn't crash my game or program is AVI. (And to import to vegas MP4 AMD APP, in vegas folder FileIO Plug-Ins, delete compoundplug.dll like this, you can import dual audio and videos decently). Do not forget, in video configuration (windows), turn to High performance, not balanced or eco. My R9 380 works fine that way.Īction works better that way, but it depends. And at last, but not least, in video configuration (action), change Bitrate to normal, 0-255, 80% or 100%, at same configuration in export config, turn on the AMD APP. SerginhoHDg の投稿を引用:Yeah, AVI take much space in hdd, it works fine in AMD video card, MP4 (with amd plugin), update a quick time in apple site, (if you are using windows 10, try update all thats stuffs). Games in particular that are having issues (Full Screen or Windowed Borderless), Diablo 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Rust, GTA5, WoW, ETC. Specs - Western Digital caviar black 500gb (Main OS) 1tb WD Black (Storage), Intel i7 4790k 4.4ghz (Stock clocks, Chipset and Video Driver upto date), MSI Gaming 5 z97, MSI R9 390 8gb (Stock Clocks, Drivers up to date), 16gb DDR3 1600mhz, Windows 10 64bit pro (Fully updated), OCZ ZT-Series 750W Power Supply, 32inch Samsung display 1080p 60hz. I am running out of ideas here and its really frustrating. I've tried switching it from recording per application (DX12, ect) to just record active screen. Tried in compatibility mode for windows 8 - no dice! it doesn't work whether its on my main drive or my main storage drive. Switching Hard drives for the output file. Here is some other things i've tried to fix. AVI and MP4, i've also tried messing with the bitrate and quality. I am using the Intel Quicksync format but i also tried. or it could be a few minutes in of the actual recording. it could be when i hit the record button. My problem is that it causes my games to crash or the recorder to crash. I leave my dxdiag info and crash logs, thank you for your help Attachments crash+dxdiag.rar (48.51 KiB) Downloaded 248 times. (Using whatever is the newest version is today). Board index Mirillis Products Action Screen and Game Recorder Action Startup crash. ALSO, it should be noted that if you start and STOP it seems more likely to crash as well assuming that you have not turned Action off. So if you record something for 30 minutes, then stop, and then recording, it seems less likely to crash than if you recorded for an hour. It's also worth noting, that the crashes seem more likely to happen the longer the recording is. I have heard that turning detect framerate stops the issue from occurring, but at the time of failure, it was on.Īlso, if it means anything, windows STILL prompts me to update Action! Even after already reinstalling it and such, which leads me to believe that it might not be fully updating at least to the point that windows itself can recognize the update. If it means anything, I'm actually on Windows 8.1. It's a microphone microphone - CAD u37 is the model. Yes, I am using other USB for external audio. The resolution is 1360 x 768 Orientation Landscape. I'm using a Haier television for my monitor. Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (and I did check for updates on this as well). Processor Intel (R) Core(TM) i7-4790k CPU Here's some information about my computer: Although, when I first started noticing the crashes was when I tried it with Steam - which always worked fine before I tried to update. But as of now, I'm not sure why this happens. That seemed to cause this to crash more often. This program is already unstable enough as is, so it usually never worked if I didn't have it in windowed mode. I was actually recording something with epsxe. I have definitely had this quite a few times as of late. Record microphone to separate track: checkedĪudio balance is 10 system sounds and 90 microphoneĭxdiags.zip (36.31 KiB) Downloaded 2258 times The other called "notworking" is the newest Intel driver (I have tried every recent Intel driver going back several versions for a year or so, they all have this issue with Action) which causes the problem. One called "working" is with the older "3412" version Intel driver and never causes an Action crash at the end of recording. I have attached a zip file with two different dxdiags. I have this problem with MP4/Quicksync recordings, but only with the newer Intel drivers.
